House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in her defense of the Democrat only passage of the economic stimulus bill, said:

“I didn’t come here to be partisan. I didn’t come here to be bipartisan. I came here, as did my colleagues, to be nonpartisan, to work for the American people, to do what is in their interest.”

If Nancy Pelosi is non-partisan then we should expect to see Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sitting down for beer and barbeque with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in the near future.

Pelosi isn’t non-partisan, and she certainly doesn’t have the best interests of the American people in mind. She is a liberal, borderline Facist, special-interest driven politician who cares more about redefining the moral fabric of the United States and bringing it in line with left-wing agenda of her constituents than she does about the overall interests of the majority of Americans. If her voting history isn’t enough to convince you, then perhaps the blatant attempts to sabotage every policy put in motion by the Bush Administration reveals precisely how partisan Pelosi, Harry Reid and many of their Democratic counterparts really are. The partisan politics in both the Democratic and Republican parties are poisoning the well-water in this country. I’m willing to give President Obama the benefit of a doubt, that perhaps, he is a different kind of politician, but quite frankly, the signs within the party that he leads and represents are that we may be in for more of the same kind of political bantering that serves only the interests of the policy makers, not the interests of the American people.
